July 2nd, 2011: London

Leon (the name of the cafe) with Eleri, Zeenat, and Henry

Eleri came in from Cambridge today, and we spent the day in London! Scott—and everyone else—was sleepy after Scott’s 23rd birthday the night before, so it was late in the day before Eleri and I met up with other friends—Zeenat from University of York (in the headscarf) and Henry (next to me in the picture). We went back to the cafe on the Strand where I had watched the protests on Thursday. That night Henry and I got Indian food in Brick Lane, as Mike recommended–very good! Sian, James, and I stayed up late talking about San Francisco, music, and the Meaning of Life–we watched Monty Python. Getting ready to leave London tomorrow for Durham.
